Cloud Computing Technology Advancements
Question: Describe about the Cloud Computing for Technology Advancements. Answer: Introduction Cloud services are getting more popular in these days of modern era in terms of providing the technological advancements within the field of information system especially in business industry (Beloglazov et al., 2012). This particular study is firmly focuses in proposing a cloud based data and payroll system for Child Protection that can bring efficiency in data exchange and also helps the management of Child Protection in addressing the lack in payroll system. This report discusses deployment modules of cloud system for Child Protection including their impact on employees. Cloud delivery and deployment modules for Child Protection There are four delivery and deployment modules of cloud base such as Public cloud, Private cloud, Hybrid cloud and community cloud. Public Cloud: Public cloud model delivers the service to a network that is open to public to be used for various purposes. Private Cloud: Private cloud provides the service to the network or user that is entirely protected by the firewall which is governed by the IT department (Fernando et al., 2013). Hybrid Cloud: Hybrid cloud services provides all the facilities that are provided by the Public and private cloud. Community Cloud: Community cloud services is one kind of cloud hosting that have mutual set up with several organizations within a single community. Based on the analysis of cloud service modules and deployment, it has been indentified that Hybrid Cloud module will be the best cloud system for Child Protection. Implementing Hybrid Cloud System, Child Protection can increase the following efficiency in their data exchange rate and payroll system for entire operations such as Cost Saving: Hybrid based cloud service provides the facility that the Child Protection doesnt have to purchase the hardware and software related to the system. Internet connectivity with the system will provide all the application as well software backups to the entire system to achieve efficiency (Li et al., 2013). Upgrading facility: Child Protection doesnt have to update the system or Hybrid cloud based applications, cloud based systems are designed in such a way they will be updated automatically with the help of internet connectivity. Convenience options: Hybrid Cloud based systems are easy to operate. In any situation and condition only with the help of the internet connectivity any user or authorized organization can access the cloud applications (Garg et al., 2013). Cloud protection can easily use cloud base in any time with internet connectivity. Security: In case of the hybrid cloud based system, it ensures no data loss will be there on the site. All the user related data are stored as back up within the cloud. Impacts of delivery and deployment module on the staffs of Child Protection The cloud base always provides benefits to the organization and also to their employees from different perspectives (Rittinghouse Ransome, 2016). Staffing is one of the most important aspects that need to be improvised in order to have the developed organizational culture. Following are the impacts of cloud computing on the staffs of the Child Protection: Positive Impacts of Cloud Delivery and Deployment Module on Staffs of Child Protection Following are the positive impacts of Cloud delivery and Deployment Module on staffs of Child Protection: Delivery and deployment module of cloud computing helps the employees in learning new aspects related to their job and work culture (Wang et al., 2012). Hybrid cloud based system reduces the excess time required to deal with the system complexity as the new cloud based resolve all complexities. Knowledge of the employee also gets improved through utilizing the Delivery and Deployment Module of loud base (Xiao et al., 2013). Improvisation of the staffing results into the development of the organization. Negative Impacts of Cloud Delivery and Deployment Module on Staffs of Child Protection Following are the negative impacts of the Delivery and Deployment Module of cloud based system on the staffs of Child Protection. There are some employees those are reluctant to change; this aspect may results into less productivity of Child Protection (Zissis Lekkas, 2012). New and complex structure of the cloud base make the employees demotivated while considering the work culture. The communication system becomes more complex with the improvised system. This aspect forces each and every employee to clear their conventional perspective about their work structure (Xu, 2012). Delivery and Deployment Module of Cloud base create hindrance to the progress of workers. Cost and billing comparison Cost and Billing Comparison of Cloud Vendors for Data Exchange Following are the cost and pricing details of three companies of Australia those are related to data exchange system: Recurly IBM Blue Mix Amazon Web Services for Service Model PaaS PaaS IaaS SaaS PaaS IaaS Deployment Model Private Cloud Public and Public Public and Private Server Operating System Linux, Windows Linux, Windows Linux, Windows Base operating pricing Small Business plans: 1.25% of the revenue + 0.10 AU dollar Enterprise Plans: 1.25% of the revenue + 0.10 AU dollar Core Plans: 99.00 USD dollar Professional Plans: 2.99.00 USD dollar Hobbyist or Startups: 256 MB, Free Medium Business: 512 MB. 24.15 AU dollar Large Enterprise: 1 GB, 175.35 AU dollar 1 TB of data: 0.03 AU dollar per month Next 49 TB: 0.0295 AU dollar per month Next 450 TB: 0.0290 AU dollar Cost and Billing Comparison of Cloud Vendors for Payroll Services Following are the cost and pricing details of three companies of Australia those are related to payroll system: CloudSigma Payrolls Windows Azure for Payrolls Firehost Payrolls Features Staffs are automatically paid Records Staff leave management Staffs are automatically paid Records Staff leave management Staffs are automatically paid Records Staff leave management Interface MYOB, Xero etc. WorkFlow Max, Sherpa Microsoft Dynamic GP, MYOB etc. Price 1 CPU core, 0.0195AU dollar/ hr: 0.0115 /hr for Windows 1GB RAM SSD Storage: 0.1329 AU Dollar/ hr Data transfer: 0.04 AU / GB outbound App services: 0.20 AU dollar Virtual machines: 10.91 AU dollar per month SQL Database: 3.94 AU dollar per month Small Business: 0.03 AU dollar Large Enterprise: 0.9 AU dollar Midsized enterprise: 0.6 AU dollar Description of Information security feature of Proposed Cloud Vendors (IBM Bluemix) The security perspectives related to IBM Bluemix are as follows: Security benefits of regarding the scale: The security measures are easy to handle when it is used on a larger scale (Dinh et al., 2013). This includes all kind of defensive measures: patch management, filtering and improving the hardware system setups Security provider as a market differentiator: Security measures are operated on the highest priority of the in case of the cloud customers (Fernando et al., 2013). This aspect introduces the confirmation of the protected version of services that will guide the technological advancements in any field. Efficient update and information provider: Cloud based service are known as the most effective and efficient service provider within the competitive market (Garg et al., 2013). In case of the updating and other complex approaches that must be done for the sustainability of the services within the market are to use the IaaS service that will provide regular updating facility to the system with the protecting version. Conclusion This can be concluded that the cloud computing has changed the entire scenario of the technological world. In this report Child Protection wants to implement the cloud based system for their data exchange and payroll system. In addition to this, this report is highlighting the importance of the cloud base in these fields. Total six organizations are selected for analyzing their pricing analysis. This aspect introduces one of the most exciting advantages of the cloud base: the service is reasonable in comparison with other services. References Beloglazov, A., Abawajy, J., Buyya, R. (2012).
